What is the basic requirement of personnel to run Nedley DARP?
For a community group to run a Nedley DARP, you will need at least 2 qualified trained personnels: 1 Associate Director and at least 1 Facilitator. Note, each Associate Director will need at least 1 Facilitator to run a group program. The training to become an Associate Director and a Facilitator is the same. The difference between the 2 status are that an Associate Director coordinates the program and owns the Nedley DARP videos (either DVD of the older material, or the newly updated videos through USB or web access) for the program. Purchasing the Nedley DARP videos is compulsory for Associate Directors as the videos provide the contents of the sessions. The participant workbook complements the content in the videos. During the program the Associate Director and Facilitator plays the videos for the group and pause for discussion and sharing.

Update of Nedley DARP Content:
Recently Nedley Health has done an update to the contents of the videos and participant workbook. The updated resources are available for purchase. This year in 2024, groups are still able to utilise the old workbook and DVDs. But from 2025, there is a recommendation to utilise the new, updated workbooks and videos (sourced from USB and the web). For trained Associate Directors and Facilitators from 2022 to date, you are welcome to update your resources which requires a brief online training update to review the changes in the content. There is no requirement to go through the recertification training in 2024. Look out for the announcement of the online training of the updated Nedley DARP contents.
Previously trained Nedley DARP Associate Directors and Facilitators:
For those who were previously trained in Nedley DARP before 2022, you are required to go through the recertification training (every 3 years). With this July 2024 training, you have the choice to purchase the updated resources or stay with the old resources.
